There are things our parents intentionally teach us.
How to do certain things. How to treat people. How to work hard. How to show up for family.
And then there are lessons they teach simply by being themselves.
Those are often the lessons we understand much later.

Not possessions.
Not the things you can pack into boxes.
The pieces of someone that become woven into the people who loved them.
