Books do not always begin with a perfect outline. Sometimes they begin with a feeling that stays with you until you finally sit down and put words to it.
Built With Purpose grew out of questions I kept returning to: What makes a meaningful life? What do we leave behind? How do we keep moving forward after loss while still honouring the people we miss?
Becoming a mother, building a business, and losing my dad have all changed how I answer those questions. I have learned that purpose is not necessarily one enormous calling. It can be found in the choices we make on ordinary days.
Writing this book gave me room to reflect on the parts of life that are joyful, difficult, messy, and deeply human. My hope is that readers see pieces of their own stories in its pages.
If you are in a season of change, or wondering whether the little things you do matter, this book is for you. Your story is still unfolding, and there is meaning in it already.
