Finding Purpose in the Ordinary Moments

We often wait for something big to happen before we call a moment important.

A milestone, an achievement or a major life change can make us stop and reflect. But some of the moments that stay with me most are much quieter: a conversation around the table, the sound of my children laughing, a photograph I almost forgot to take.

That idea sits at the heart of Built With Purpose. Life is not only made up of its biggest chapters. It is made up of the small decisions to love, show up, forgive, try again and notice what is right in front of us.

Grief has a way of making ordinary memories feel extraordinary. A familiar phrase or an old photograph can bring someone close for a moment. It reminds me to be present while new memories are still being made.

If you are looking for purpose, you may not have to search far. It may be in the people you care for, the work you do with intention or the kindness you offer without expecting recognition. I hope my book encourages readers to see the beauty in lives that are still unfolding, including their own.
