Seeing my book become something people could hold was a moment I had imagined for a long time.
Before that moment came the quieter work: writing, editing, revisiting difficult memories and making decisions about how I wanted the story presented. A manuscript can feel deeply personal. Preparing it for readers requires both courage and patience.
Publishing Built With Purpose showed me that finishing the writing is not the end of the journey. There are conversations with readers, opportunities to share the story, and the ongoing work of letting people know the book exists. Each part has been a learning experience.
I am especially grateful for the chance to connect with communities through interviews and author events. A book may begin with one person’s experiences, but the conversations it creates can belong to many people.
If you have ever wanted to write, please do not assume you need a perfect plan before starting. Write the memory, the sentence or the page you can manage today. Stories grow one piece at a time, and yours may be worth sharing too.
